AgroCares Nutrient Scanner<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the increased pressure on agricultural productivity caused by the raising world population, time\/cost-efficient field monitoring and analysis becomes inreasingly important. This is why AgroCares devotes in the development of cutting edge data solutions to measure nutrients and other key paramters and to provide the world\u2019s farming community with data-based precision farming tools which ultimately lead to sustainable yield and production increase.<\/p>\n

The nutrient Scanner (https:\/\/www.agrocares.com\/en\/products\/scanner\/<\/a>) is a handheld NIR spectrometers developed by AgroCares for instant, on-the-spot monitoring of nutrients in soil, feed and leaf. This autonomous solution helps farmers to take samples up to a circle of 65 square millimetres, whenever needed, so they can react in every stage of the growing.<\/p>\n

Real time availability of nutritional information<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ability to connect the scanner with the mobile application (App) makes an on-the-spot soil testing possible. After scanning the sample, the data is uploaded and compared with the AgroCares databases to provide a quick full report which includes advice and recommendation on how to improve the field. This instant analysis helps in optimizing the timing of the harvest or reducing the feed costs, whereas the database makes it convenient to compare with previous results.<\/p>\n

Complementary sensor solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Scanner is an ideal tool for monitoring spatial variation and changes of time of soil structure and fertility. This can be done on small scale farms, but also on large scale farms. The results of the Scanner are even more valuable when combined with a mixed field sample is analysed on the Lab-in-a-Box sensor fusion system (MIR and XRF) before planting.<\/p>\n
